Cricket! is a weird theatrical/folk punk/emo/acoustic/bug/thing dragging himself against the grain of cultural normality. Performances are frantic, energetic, and deeply emotional. He has been compared to many artists from the Front Bottoms, to Will Wood, to Penelope Scott, to AJJ, but in the end he is still completely and entirely his own thing/person/bug. Cricket is a proud mental health awareness advocate, and his song writing brings catharsis to those struggling with social seclusion, self hatred, and all those other nasty things.
