Allen Bagasse, better known as ALLEN, is a Mozambican DJ, producer, and remixer whose sound weaves through the textures of Afro-Tech, Afro House, and Deep House. Born in July 1996 in Beira, Mozambique, his musical journey is rooted in a deep connection to rhythm, culture, and the emotional language of the dance floor. ALLEN first emerged as one half of the celebrated DJ duo Allen & Hugo, a partnership that quickly gained national recognition and was hailed as one of the best DJ duos in Mozambique. But in 2016, after parting ways, ALLEN embarked on a deeply personal solo journey — one that would redefine his identity as an artist. No longer confined by collaboration, he began carving out a sound that was entirely his own: expressive, immersive, and grounded in soul. Drawing inspiration from his African roots, ALLEN found a profound creative voice in African drums and rhythms, captivated by their raw power and spiritual energy. For him, these elements are more than just musical tools - they're a form of storytelling, emotion, and ancestral memory. Now stepping confidently into a new chapter of his career, ALLEN is beginning to release original productions and remixes that reflect his vision not only as a producer but also as a DJ.
