Monolux, based in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, has been on a musical journey for about 15 years. It all started with the simple joy of playing records, which ignited a deeper passion for production. His discovery of the magic of creation through Ableton Live —a digital audio workstation he has stuck with ever since—was a pivotal moment. For Monolux, music quickly transformed into an escape, a sanctuary where he could immerse himself completely. In those moments, time seems to stand still, and he finds himself driven solely by sound and creativity. This sensation of total immersion fuels his unwavering passion for making music, allowing him to express himself in ways that words often cannot. Having worked in the event industry, Monolux was constantly surrounded by an array of instruments, which sparked his interest in learning to play the drums and keys.
