Young Moe

Since his emergence in the DMV rap scene at the age of 14, Egyptian born, Alexandria, VA bred Young Moe has always rapped like he's got something to prove. His latest project “Real One” is a masterful work that further cements his place as one of the DMV's most important and promising talents. 
 “Real One” is authentic to its core. The tape showcases features only from the DMV—from Fat Trel, Shy Glizzy, Chris Bo, Yung Ru, to even family members. From beginning to end, Moe's lyrics affect listeners with immediacy—pulling them deep into his world. 
 As Jayson Greene the American author, music critic and editor put it in Pitchfork, "Moe raps like a pugilist, his voice plowing doggedly into each beat and his rhyme schemes piling like pack crates on a pallet."
