Matt de Bathe

London-based DJ and internationally touring trumpet soloist Matt de Bathe has established himself as one of the industry's most in-demand brass players, with more than 800 performances across the UK, Ibiza and Dubai since 2018. His live performances have included appearances for BBC Radio 1, official BRIT and BAFTA afterparties, and major festivals including Creamfields, Reading and Isle of Wight. He has cemented himself as the go-to trumpet player for global dance brands such as Housework / Boat Club and has appeared at iconic venues from London’s Ministry of Sound to Eden Ibiza. His current global footprint ranges from the Caribbean to the Middle East. In 2025, Matt expanded his live performance into a hybrid DJ + Trumpet act with the new show debuting at The Steel Yard, London in December that year. His sound blends a distinctive dark trumpet tone with percussive textures, rich chord progressions and cinematic colour. His debut single ‘Aquae Sulis’, released in September 2026, marks the first release under his own name and the beginning of his evolution from established live performer to recording artist.
