Avaland

AVALAND is a symphonic and power metal band founded by singer, songwriter, and producer Adrien G. Gzagg. More than simply a musical project, Avaland is a universe where cinematic orchestrations, soaring melodies, and epic storytelling merge together to create immersive journeys beyond the boundaries of reality. Since its inception, the band has been driven by a clear ambition: to capture the sense of adventure that defined the golden age of symphonic & power metal while bringing a modern vision and a distinctive identity to the genre. This approach has allowed Avaland to collaborate with renowned musicians from the international metal scene as Tom Englund (Evergrey), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Zak Stevens (Savatage), Helle Bohdanova (Ignea), Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion/Ayreon)... Following the release of "Theater of Sorcery" (2021) and "The Legend Of The Storyteller" (2023), Avaland enters a new chapter with Chemical Poetry, produced by Joost van den Broek (who worked with Epica, Powerwolf, Blind Guardian...). More ambitious, mature and narrative, the album explores transformation, self-discovery, human and emotional questioning. Combining symphonic grandeur, uplifting melodies, and powerful metal energy, the band further refines its identity through a work conceived as a journey in its own right. Be welcome to Avaland...
