Nicolas Parent trio

French guitarist and composer Nicolas Parent blends jazz, folk and world music into a distinctive sonic universe. Classically trained, he began his musical journey on the viola before developing his singular guitar style, driven by a constant search for refinement and a very personal aesthetic. At the heart of the Nicolas Parent Trio, he explores a sound where hypnotic grooves, lyrical melodies and improvisation meet. The trio’s three albums, Moments, Tori and Mirage, put his voice as a composer front and centre. His musical journey includes collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Vincent Ségal and YOM, and has taken him as far as Japan. Also composing for film and visual media, Nicolas creates evocative soundscapes shaped by emotion and imagery. His music bridges jazz, improvisation and cinematic storytelling, revealing a singular artistic voice. www.nicolasparent.com
