DAMOYEE

DAMOYEE is a genre-fusing artist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and streamer from Dallas, TX, who is acclaimed for her remarkable musicianship, evocative lyricism, luminous voice, and sonic versatility. She is lauded for her captivating and immersive performances, building full arrangements live by layering multiple instruments and vocal harmonies. Her vivid blend of classical training, jazz fluency, soulful vocals, folk intimacy, and experimental production places her at the forefront of modern independent music. Her debut album The Whole Truth charted internationally and received nods from Dallas Observer and Central Track, which respectively dubbed her Best Vocalist and Best Female Vocalist in Dallas. In 2023, she launched Loopcore Live with DAMOYEE — a multi-platform livestream show where she builds community while live looping and composing music from scratch. Four EPs have been conceived from this endeavor: Loopcore No. 1 EP, Loopcore No. 2 EP, Indigo Nights Vol. 1, and Indigo Nights Vol. 2. Her 2024 project, PURPLEXED DELUXE, explored vulnerability, self-discovery, and coming-of-age through autobiographical storytelling and marked a new peak of artistic honesty while capturing the chaos, growth, and emotional turbulence of her college years through early adulthood. With a new album on the horizon, DAMOYEE delves deeper into the meaning of self, while fusing shades of multiple genres to create an introspective and authentic sound all her own.
