Born in Lagos, Babz was in South East Asia when he first gained recognition on the radio through is melodic Hip Hop rapping and R&B dance rhythmic sound, his first song “Move It” picked to Number 1 for four weeks on the top 10 New Bees Charts in Malaysia and then more than 12 weeks on the Charts entirely that year. Now reinventing himself adopting his original Afro style influence into the mix of his already acquired armour, he’s now based in the UK looking to break into the music scene and around the world. Babz returned with his post pandemic single titled “Brand New” which has now gathered over 3.8 million views on YouTube. At this stage in his musical journy, Babz is definitely revolutionalising the afro-fusion sound and is surely the gem of this new generation.
