Biography & Metadata
jjared is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter who blends and breaks genres at will. Releasing his debut project God Dreams, his passion for storytelling and sonic acumen transport listeners directly into his heart, immersing them into his world of difference and emotion. Still on his come-up, he debuted his original music for the first time ever at Toronto’s newly reopened Mod Club, opening for Daniel Caesar’s 10th anniversary show, hosted by Billboard and NXNE. Shortly after, he performed at the Danforth Music Hall alongside River Tiber, Charlotte Day Wilson, Justin Nozuka, and his close friend 646yf4t, for the JUNO Award-winning Strings from Paris sextet during their Valentine’s Extravaganza show early 2026. His musical inspirations include the British-French band Stereolab, formed in London (1990), and the Australian duo Empire of the Sun, known for their heart-pulling, infectious hooks. Follow for more
