Hi, I’m Greta Percha. I’m a real fresh-and-blood artist! I write fluid, avant-garde pop for people who get bored easily. My songs evolve & wander through multiple musical biomes; they arrive exactly where they’re meant to! I’m aggressively uninterested in algorithm-bait music designed for mass streaming. Unfortunately, that also makes the music harder to promote in an industry that is curiously optimizing for sameness. I’m okay with that. Everything is written and produced at my kitchen table — usually guided by mood, curiosity, and a generous glass of wine. Headphones are strongly recommended; I like building worlds inside the stereo field. By day I’m a doctor with a wonderful group of patients. The upside is I’m not financially dependent on the music industry, which means I get to make the music I want- not the music the algorithm prefers. I release songs slowly and intentionally. I write a lot more than I publish. Perfectionism is a vice, but it’s also the point.
