GOME

Somewhere between the sweat of a packed club and the warm crackle of an old house record, you'll find GOME. The Hamburg-based artist makes raw, groove-heavy, 90s-influenced house with a bit of punk energy. After launching his own label Snackwax in 2023 and landing club anthems like 'Tell Me' and 'Get My Love', GOME has released on Dam Swindle's Heist Recordings and Cinthie's 803 Crystal Grooves, and played Berghain, Robert Johnson, Golden Pudel, Shelter, Cova Santa Ibiza and D-Edge, plus festivals including Down The Rabbit Hole, Garbicz and Fusion. But to truly understand GOME, you need to catch one of his sets, either as a DJ or at one of the rare live or live-hybrid shows, performed as a duo with live partner Robin Townshend. On stage, they favor a strict hardware setup. GOME is a genuine musician, unafraid to bring in live instruments like keyboards, guitar and bass, and even his own vocals during performances.
