“Castaway” and “Neon Angel” (2026) mark the first album releases for independent artist / songwriter, Darby Anderson. These collections of songs are predominantly new material with a few of his past added in here and there. But it’s hard to tell the difference with a songwriter whose eclectic influences go all the way back to early Country, Elvis, the Beatles, Hollie’s, Eagles and more. You’ll hear surprising influences of not only traditional country but unique flavors of rockabilly, Cajun, blues, country surf guitar, soul, pop, rock, Eric Clapton guitar and great bands from the 60’s and 70’s.
