Biography & Metadata

CASO is an artist from Weymouth, MA, a city 15min south of Boston, whose ability to both record and mix his own music reflects a rare blend of creativity and technical skill. Raised in a musically driven household, shaped by his father’s journey from Brazil to the United States as a working musician, he developed a deep-rooted passion for music and storytelling. He gained major recognition with “TFN,” which became a local anthem during the Celtics’ championship run and continues to be played at TD Garden and Fenway Park, cementing his presence in the city’s cultural landscape. In 2023, CASO was discovered by former Interscope Records A&R Jim Bailey, also known as Jim Nyce, leading to collaborations with Grammy-nominated producer Akachi and multi-platinum producer Bobby Kritical. His momentum continued with “Freaknik,” produced by Hollywood Cole and Grammy Award winning Lyle LeDuff, which became a nationwide club favorite and a major turning point in his career. With strong radio support, a growing fanbase, and his latest project Thanks For Nothin’, CASO is carving his own lane and establishing himself as one of Boston’s most promising voices in hip-hop.
