Born in Lagos, Nigeria and now based in Luxembourg, Oke is a genre fluid pop artist blending Afrobeat, disco, electronic textures, and Yoruba soul into a sound that reflects his cross cultural identity. Raised on Brandy, Fela Kuti, Aṣa, Tiwa Savage, and Destiny’s Child, his musical journey began in a church choir before evolving into a conceptual solo project he launched in 2017. Drawing on both African heritage and European influences, Oke bridges global pop storytelling with contemporary electronic production, earning national recognition as one of Luxembourg’s most internationally visible emerging artists. His ALTER-EGO EP marks a bold new chapter, introducing three distinct personas that explore confidence, queer joy, love, ancestry, and self determination through character driven storytelling. Playful and glamorous Stella Ross, fearless and romantic Darius, and the spiritual Ori each represent different dimensions of identity, grounding the project in both dance floor euphoria and introspective reflection. Rooted in Yoruba philosophy and shaped by lived experience between continents, Oke’s art invites listeners into a universe where vulnerability, heritage, and reinvention coexist without apology.
