Fireside Shadow

Fireside Shadow is a solo rock project by Reba Dougherty based in Minneapolis Minnesota. It blends flavors of alt rock, industrial, and dark wave to create the unique sound that is Fireside Shadow. On 11/20/2025, the debut album “What if I’m right” was released; a collection of songs written over the span of 4 years during a transformative period of healing. The songs are emotionally charged with a focus on an energetic musical ebb and flow. The new Live Studio Album titled “What if I had friends?” is an extension of the debut album featuring talent by Christopher Schara, Aj Sugar, and Chase Fretheim, who have accompanied Fireside Shadow during live shows. This album was recorded live in studio on 03/06/2026, and was released post production on 08/15/2026, sporting an alt rock/garage rock feel. You can anticipate an original EP titled “OBJECTION!” with newly written songs before the end of 2026. This EP is a small collection of songs making bold statements about the current state of our world. Lyrics within songs make a point of reflecting on the human condition. Some making light of situations that make you think “I’ve been there.” And others exploring the complexities of hard polarizing emotions. Inspired by acts like Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine, Metric, Phantogram, The Pretty Reckless, System of a Down, Paramore, Deftones, Saint Asonia, Flyleaf, Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, The Beatles, Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, and always more!
