Katrina

Katrina is a New York based indie rock band whose music pulls from dream pop, post punk, grunge, classic rock, and indie pop without staying in one lane. In May 2022, best friends Max Mili and Pinky Poodles, who first met while attending Nassau Community College, began informal bedroom jam sessions, inspired by artists such as Ween, The Doors, Elliott Smith, Lil Peep, Alice in Chains, The Strokes, Nirvana, The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, and The Beatles. Releasing music under the name Pinky Poodles & Max Mili, the pair wrote over 20 songs while living together in college and independently released their first material in Fall 2023. After making their live debut in April 2024, the duo built momentum by playing nearly 100 open mics and shows within their first year. In 2025, producer and multi instrumentalist Jack Gray joined the project after meeting the duo as their downstairs neighbor at Purchase College, becoming a key collaborator in both the studio and on stage. In Fall 2026, bassist Saverio joined the band, further expanding Katrina's lineup. Katrina is led by vocalist and pianist Max Mili and lead guitarist Pinky Poodles, with Gray handling rhythm guitar, production, and a variety of additional instruments, and Saverio on bass. Mili also occasionally contributes ukulele. The group currently works with a session drummer for recording and live performances. Their debut album, Feverish, produced and mixed by Gray at Virtue and Vice Studios, is out now.
