Biography & Metadata
Swedey formed in early 2025 between longtime friends Zachariah Whiton (vox, gtr) of 1776 and Kevin Heiderich (bass) of The Alimonies, along with other founding members Charles D. Hendrickson and Coco Campbell in Longview, WA. After the project was underway and a brief lineup shift, Swedey said goodbye to Coco and Charles, and hello to Kyle Woodring (drums) of Ludos. Swedey dwells is the space where grit & gaze collide, combining elements of shoegaze, black metal, early "grunge", all surrounded by an emotional wrapper highlighting several lifetimes worth of disappoint, heartbreak, and substances.
