Sphulawabantwana a popular name in the streets of Tembisa’s Ivory park and a name to remember as Black is Browns rising Amapiano musician and music influencer. Singer and songwriter real name Sipho Solomon Themba who goes by his stage and street name Sphulawabantwana born 03 October 2004 forms part of South Africa’s young vibrant generation who are showcasing the Amapiano culture that travels across boarders through the power on the internet. 2021 marked the beginning of of the artists music career, which he showcased through social media. His efforts paid off when MR Jazziq invited him to a studio session and ultimately he joined Black Is Brown in 2022. Sphula released his single “Lord Jesus” accompanied by a successful dance challenge. The single was reflective of his sound which blends Kwaito with Rhythms of Amampiano and sub-genre Mozambique to produce an energising and vibrant sound. The sound he created is reflective of his musical influences that he draws from the late Mpura, Lady Du and Mr Jazziq. Sphula is well on his way to becoming one Amapiano’s break-out stars and future global music influencer.
