James Hunter Crossley

James Hunter Crossley is a UK-based handpan artist and educator, creating original handpan music for meditation, wellbeing and live performance. His work focuses on expressive, melodic and rhythmic handpan compositions, blending modern production with organic, acoustic handpan soundscapes. James performs internationally and is the founder of the London Handpan Academy, one of the UK’s leading schools for learning the handpan. Alongside his performance career, he also trains facilitators through professional sound and wellbeing programmes. In his earlier career, James toured internationally as an actor and performer and appeared on the hit UK television show Gladiators. Today, his music centres on calming, immersive and emotionally driven handpan instrumental music for relaxation, focus, sleep and live ceremony.
