ABG The Stellar

ABG is a bold new voice in Jamaican dancehall — sensual, fearless, and rooted in realness and versatility. Born Abigail Edwards and raised in Upper Waltham Avenue, Kingston, she was surrounded by music from day one: her mother, a sound promoter (Soulempress); her father, an artist (Ben Guru); and her brothers deeply involved in sound system culture and music creation. First known as Abi-G, she got her first taste of public recognition performing her track “Determined” during Spice’s Black Hypocrisy Tour at UTech, where the crowd embraced her and her fire was lit. Now rebranded as ABG, she blends commanding presence, playful energy, and confident storytelling into her music. Her latest single, “Countertop” on the London Riddim (produced by Supa Hype Music), marks a sexy, energetic debut that shows just one side of her multi-dimensional artistry. “I’m not afraid to be raw and real — but I’m also soft, soulful, and poetic. Music gives me all those lanes to be me.” – ABG A proud mom and a Marketing & Finance graduate, ABG brings balance, ambition, and authenticity to everything she does.
