ZSZN is a Wisconsin-born, fully independent artist creating music rooted in faith, growth, and the experiences that shape who we become. Blending gospel, hip-hop, pop, indie, and R&B, his sound reflects a wide musical upbringing influenced by artists ranging from Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and John Mayer to Fleetwood Mac, the Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley. Through uncertainty, failure, and six months of homelessness, music remained a constant. What began with freestyle sessions grew into a sense of purpose and a determination to understand every part of the craft. Starting with BandLab and a pair of earbuds, ZSZN spent more than five years progressing through FL Studio and inexpensive microphones to Logic Pro X, professional equipment, and the ability to write, engineer, and produce at an industry level. Along the way, ZSZN found God, and his growing faith reshaped both his life and the reason behind his music. Years of independent development eventually led to professional studios, with High Five Studios becoming a creative home where much of his finalized catalog has taken shape. Through experimentation, failure, and rebuilding, ZSZN stopped searching for a sound and began creating from an identity of his own. At the center of it all is the belief that music can change something—it can heal, give meaning to what we experience, and remind us of who we were created to be.
