mikey

mikey is a new, alternative pop duo from Copenhagen, Denmark. Since having released their debut single don't wait in March 2025, they have not looked back.

With their debut EP first notes released exactly one year into their project, the duo has continuously been putting out new music, showcasing and building upon their highly original take on intimate and melancholic pop music in 2026.

Approaching the studio with no rules or limitations, the duo is not afraid of blending genres and drawing upon different sources of inspiration; from the vulnerability of 00’s indie and the softness of contemporary rnb, to drawing on the rough textures of underground club music and ethereal sounds of 80’s new-age, their music is best described as a breath of fresh air. With the duo slowly, but surely expanding their creative universe, there’s no telling what mikey has up their sleeves next.
