Boluwatife Balogun, known professionally as Champz, isn’t just another rising act from Lagos. He’s a force rewriting what it means to chase greatness on your own terms. A 14 year old Lagos-born artist , with roots in Ogun State, Champz embodies the sound of ambition; blending Afro-swing, hip-hop-infused Afrobeats, and subtle hints of Afro-fusion into music that’s raw, confident, and true to self. Music found him early. At just nine, he was crafting beats on his own; by ten, he was already writing songs for fun. But everything aligned when, a few days after turning fourteen, he sent his mom a message that changed everything: “Mum, I want to become a rapper; it’s my calling.” That was the moment Champz was born; not just a name, but a purpose.
