He formed the international project ‘Rue de Paris,’ releasing three acclaimed albums. The debut album Quiet Motion (2005, Sony Music) featured jazz greats like Adam Nussbaum and Ack van Rooyen and was praised as a masterpiece. His second album, New York Slow (2007), was recorded in NYC at Avatar Studios with guests like Randy Brecker and Lee Konitz. His third album Trois (2009), recorded in The Hague, was named one of the top 10 jazz albums of the year by Stereoplay magazine. Rue's solo album, One Note Story (2013), featured top musicians such as Patrick Scales, Sebastian Studnitzky, Jesse Millener, Christian Lettner and Lutz Haefner.
