I’m sure you have no idea of who I am so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Markie J, I am a music artist based out of Dayton Ohio, near the Cincinnati area. I make a range of music with elements of Trap, Rap, Hip-Hop, Drill and also some horror core / Trap Metal. My key inspirations are NF, Joyner Lucas, Travis Scott, Night Lovell and $uicideboy$. My music tends to bring a wide variety of multiple different emotions and feelings ranging from super hype and goosebump inducing to very emotional and tear jerking. Not only as an artist but my true genuine self, I stand for hope, I stand for peace, as someone who struggles with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD and dissociation I know what it’s like to be alone and have to sit and struggle all to yourself and not have anyone to express your feelings to and have to sit and suffer in silence. That’s why I aspire and strive and dedicate myself to helping other people as much as I can, whenever I can and not just through my music. I also want to be a voice for those who are too afraid to stand up for themselves and give them hope because I know what it’s like to struggle and have no hope or happiness in this world and that’s something that a TON of people can relate with and get behind on, ESPECIALLY during the times we’re going through now. I don’t just want to be a music artist, I want to create beautiful masterpieces and turn my life into a story, an adventure that everyone can follow along.
