Hey, my name is Chuck Okeke. My artist name is okay(K). It’s a derivation of my last name and is pronounced (okay-kay). I was born in New York and have been professionally making music since 2017. I was signed to Blossom Records in 2018. After reaching out twitter/x, I connected with tobi lou and he said via dm, quote, "I checked out your stuff last night, and now ima fan" We agreed to swap songs; I would have tobi feature on one of my songs and tobi would feature me on one of his. The prior has yet to happen; however, shortly after I was featured on tobi lou's debut album, Live on Ice on the song Delete My # Baby (feat. Soundbwoy). I’ve been featured in New Music Friday, New Music Friday AU & NZ, Fresh Finds, COLORS, H&M and many more editorials. I also received radio placements worldwide such as BBC Radio, triple J unearthed, Amazing Radio etc. as well as blog/magazine features such as EARMILK, Plastic Magazine, Happy Mag, We Rave You etc. Accolades are great, but the main reason I got into music was to spread good vibes. Everyone goes thru something; my music is meant help you get through it. A fan of mine once told me my music got them through high school. That’s bigger than any accolade I’ve ever gotten. I remember artists that were that for me so it means a lot. I hope you enjoy the music :) ARCHIVE: kyako 🩵🤎
