Bezzy Makes Music

Bezzy Makes Music is the late-night side of the Vancouver producer who records as Truevined. Behind the gold helmet is BZ-1, a producer and remix unit that spends most nights in lofi: rain on the window, warm keys, tape hiss. When BZ-1 leaves the lofi desk, it goes looking for rhythm. Some sessions turn into electronic sketches and experiments that don't fit a genre yet. Others land in Afrobeats, where the drums do the talking. The first single, rain and sunshine, is two and a half minutes of coffee cooling on a windowsill. The other side shows up on Heavenly Social, a Truevined song BZ-1 flipped into an Afrobeat remix. The two pass tracks back and forth. Truevined writes the words. Bezzy finds the groove.
