Biography & Metadata

The Blackmailer is a Berlin-based queer DJ and producer, known for their energy. Their high-intensity sound rooted in hard techno, industrial textures, and uncompromising rave culture. They first made noise in Paris as the mind behind the infamous Currywürst parties at Batofar, before shaping their sonic identity through engineering studies and relentless production work. Their breakout came with the release of Jellyfish Rave on Carbone Records, followed by Shall We Go Out Tonight — a pure rave anthem played by Amelie Lens, Kobosil, Parfait, Dax J.Dana Montana, Airod.. In 2023, The Blackmailer joined Exhale VA (Amelie Lens), marking a major step forward in the European circuit. Their sound: minimal in elements, maximal in impact — designed for sweat-soaked basements and late-night catharsis. Now signed to Comme Dans Les Films (founded by Parfait), The Blackmailer continues to push boundaries through unapologetic energy, political presence, and a deep connection to Berlin’s underground scene. Whether performing at Club OST or releasing on labels like Märked, Sesh, COUP, The Blackmailer stands at the intersection of resistance and release — where the rave becomes revolution
