About Dave Belding Hailing from Long Island, NY, I’ve always been passionate about writing and performing music. For me, raw emotion is best expressed in its purest form through sound. My approach to songwriting involves blending and pushing the boundaries of different genres, creating a progressive sound that's dynamic, unpredictable, and unique. I got into guitar at a young age, and experimenting with unconventional tunings has allowed me to create riffs and melodies that stand out in a distinct way. Over the last few years, I’ve really "dived hard" into adding electronic elements to the heavier stuff I’ve been creating. This fusion brings a fresh dynamic to my sound, blending driving rhythms with the raw energy of my guitar work. It’s given my music a whole new edge, while still keeping the intensity and emotion at the forefront. My goal is simple: to stir emotion through every song I write. One thing I’ve learned along the way is that life doesn’t always reward you based on what you deserve. But that shouldn’t stop anyone from following their passion. That's the message I carry with me in my music, and I aim to lead by example.
