Electric bass player Daniel Romeo has distilled the best of funk and irresistible grooves for several years and knows, like no one, how to build a mega funky party while playing daring and surprising music. He also knows how to ignite with an unstoppable swing and communicate with his audience thanks to the elegant sound he gives to his bass.Daniel recorded an album with DJ Cam, Soulshine, with some distinguished guests including Larry Blackmon (Cameo), Guru (Jazzmattaz) and others.In 1998, Daniel records two albums which will never see the light with guests like Mike Stern, Toots Thielemans and Rosario Giuliani.We feel, at that precise moment, the mad desire for him to take a step back and to put himself at the services of others.He sets up his own studio, the DaRecording Studio, in the Brussels suburbs. At the same time, and never to let go of the pleasure of playing and sharing music, he accompanies renowned artists and becomes one of the most required bass players in Europe.He has accompanied Bernard Lavilliers in particular for several years and still today. He also plays and records with Eric Legnini Trio, Mike Stern, Paco Sery, Roy Hargrove, Reggie Washington, Eddy Louiss, Toots Thielemans, Mino Cinelu, Alex Tassel, Manu Katche, Zigaboo Modelist, Christophe Panzani, David Donatien, Yael Naim, General Electriks, Junior Jack, Felix Da Housecat, Rosario Giuliani, Fred Wesley and many more…He is also the executive producer of the Electro Deluxe Play disc.
