Lewis’s music is expansive, intricate, conceptual, scanning the vast spectrum of Black music. Combined with his own cultural heritage as a native south Londoner and black British Caribbean, Lewis delivers music that blurs the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop, gospel, electronic, alternative music and many other genres too. He is an In-demand session musician composer/arranger, he regularly plays for many high profile groups including House Gospel Choir, MOBO award winning gospel artist Rachel Kerr, The Last Dinosaur, Boadi, Mykki Blanco. He has supported @florenceandthemachine with Mykki Blanco on a US tour including Madison Square Garden and sessions with artists including Chaka Khan, Arthur Verocai ,Cat Burns, Primal Scream, Lewis Capaldi, Tom Grennan, Laura Mvula Corinne Bailey Rae Lewis has support from BBC Radio 6, Tom Robinson,Cerys Matthews, , a featured artist on BBC Radio London (Robert Elms Show) Worldwide FM, Soho Radio, Jazz FM, (John Osborne and Tony Minvielle) to name a few. His track Find Your Tribe was playlisted on Jazz FM for 4 weeks and named the near future track on BBC 6 music.
