seren

Pronounced as ‘suh-ren’, seren creates music for the in-between. Whether it’s between places, between people, or between feelings we often avoid uncovering. Her name anchors this duality: meaning “star” in Welsh and “mast of a ship” in Turkish, seren’s name embodies guidance and steadiness. Raised between Istanbul and London, the Turkish-British artist carries both cities into her sound. Her early self-produced work explored vocal-led production accompanied by atmospheric and reverby synths. Drifting between alt-folk and cinematic, atmospheric alt-pop, seren’s sound is shaped by hazy synths, soft string layers, and reverb-drenched guitars. Her distinct sound is guided by her haunting, sultry vocals, coated in reverb and vulnerability. Her tracks 'blue' and 'crave' have been featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds UK and IE, recognising her as an upcoming independent artist. contact: serenxartiste@gmail.com
