Bootleg Rascal

Bootleg Rascal is a Yugambeh/Gold Coast-based duo comprised of Carlos Lara and Jimmy Young. Drawing inspiration from icons like Gorillaz, Kid Cudi, Sublime, and Massive Attack, the pair fuses hip-hop, reggae, indie rock, dub, and electronica into a unique, genre-bending sound. Since forming in late 2012, Bootleg Rascal has released a string of singles, two EPs, and four albums, earning global acclaim from fans and critics alike. The duo has toured the world, selling out headline shows across France, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, the USA, New Zealand, and Australia. This year marks the 10th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Asleep In The Machine’. To celebrate, the band have just released a 10 Year Anniversary Deluxe Version and will embark on another tour across Australia and New Zealand.
