Dr.Ghib

Dr.Ghib is an artist difficult to describe, because unpredictable and never devoted only to a musical genre. Hard rock has a special place in his heart, and his rock attitude often emerges from his songs. But his compositional variety is due to listening to very different musical genres. Prog Rock, Punk, Reggae, New Wave, Country Rock and Heavy Metal are often mixed in his songwriting. Dr.Ghib has been active on the web since 2021, when he made his debut with two albums. ROCKITALO is a remake of nine hard rock songs in Italian , composed in the second half of the 90s. The second album, TUTTI GIÙ PER TERRA,while still being in the field of classic hard rock, it also contains some nice exceptions . The song LUNA ROCK, inspired by the deep sorrow for the death of Eddie Van Halen, is a perfect example of his oneiric songwriting .And it comes to 2022, with the album SURVIVOR, that is projected instead in the world of a pop rock never banal, with original melodies and unsettling changes of atmosphere. THIS IS ROCK ( 2023) is the fourth album: hard rock, with English texts. The visceral love of rock comes out here so much so that the artist himself considers it his own little masterpiece . It's 2024: Rocking guitars go away and they come synth and sampled sounds. Here comes the album DIFFERENT MOODS, 13 songs that have in common only one goal: displace the listener. So, if you are searching for an artist in constant search for originality, Dr.Ghib is what you need !
