Biography & Metadata

ANGELO REMO’N (Singer/songwriter/producer) Angelo Remo'n, hailing from South Georgia and born into a family steeped in musical tradition, draws inspiration from soul legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Al Green. However, it was his uncle's funk band from the '70s that ignited his passion for music. With early success writing and producing for BET's "The Platinum House" featuring Dru Hill and Keith Sweat, Angelo quickly made a mark in the industry. His talent flourished as he wrote and co-produced numerous tracks for Keith Sweat, including hit singles like "Ridin Solo" and "Make You Say Ooh." Collaborations with artists such as Johnny Gill, SWV's Coco, and Bobby Valentino further showcased his versatility. Despite his success behind the scenes, Angelo's heart lies in live performance, honed since adolescence. A decade-long stint as Keith Sweat's backing vocalist provided invaluable experience, and understanding of the music business. As a solo artist, he aims to infuse contemporary music with the timeless essence of '70s soul. With two solo albums under his belt—"NATURAL" and "BLAQ SOUL"—Angelo continues to evolve, currently exploring new musical avenues and collaborations.
