T-Vice

T‑Vice is a legendary Haitian Konpa band formed in 1992 in Port‑au‑Prince by brothers Roberto and Reynaldo Martino, sons of the guitarist from the iconic Top Vice, a predecessor to T‑Vice. The original lineup included close friends James Cardozo and Gérald Kebreau, creating a quartet that would redefine Haitian dance music. Based in Miami, Florida, T‑Vice blends traditional Konpa with vibrant elements of reggae, merengue, flamenco, funk, and rock, fusing global influences into an unmistakably energetic Caribbean sound. Over a career spanning three decades, they’ve released more than 27 studio and live albums, including recent live albums Live Nouvelle Caledonie and Di’ m Sa’ w We (2023), and continue to electrify crowds with festival-ready anthems. Their memorable performances have taken place in North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Australia, and South America, including notable shows in Panama, Chile, French Guiana, Venezuela, Colombia, and Mexico. They’ve collaborated with Haitian and Caribbean icons, working alongside Wyclef Jean and Buju Banton on the hit Party By The Sea. They have shared stages with rivals-turned-friends like Sweet Micky, Carimi, and Djakout Mizik. Their latest release, “Che Dèv” (June 12, 2025), showcases forward-driving Konpa fused with fresh pop and Caribbean grooves, reinforcing T‑Vice’s status as a genre innovator.
