Hey! My name is Raphael, also known as Yaans. I’ve been involved in music since the age of 4 with the piano and started producing at 12. Today, I’m building my sound across house, indie dance, and Afro house, with emotion at the center of everything I create. I’m a mood-driven artist: every track is about maximizing a specific feeling, whether it’s deep, sad, uplifting, or club-oriented. My music has been supported by artists such as Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Shimza etc. and released on labels including My Other Side of The Moon, Sondela, Make the Girls Dance, One Seven Music... My sound is recognizable through its synth work, groove-driven basslines, and analog textures. I’m currently emerging on the global house scene with a strong focus on emotional impact and storytelling through sound.
