Mumbai-based Saniya MQ is a Hindi rapper, poet, and storyteller. Known for her unfiltered takes on inequality, discrimination, and the daily hustle of marginalized communities, with the use of her incredible penmanship – Saniya has had a meteoric yet hard-earned rise to fame. She has emerged as one of the most distinctive young voices in Indian hip-hop, gaining wider recognition through platforms such as Red Bull 64 Bars, Homegrown Talent Hunt etc. With tracks such as “Ladki Jeet Gayi,” “Zamana” and “Black sheep”, she continues to carve out a space for herself within India’s evolving independent music landscape. She is also the winner of the Jury’s Choice Award for Breaking Bias at the Power Creator’s Awards (Women’s Edition) 2026.
