Biography & Metadata

Summerhouse is the project of Irish-English producer and multi-instrumentalist Conall Hill. Raised in East London, Hill spent his teens and early twenties playing in indie bands across the sweaty pubs and basements of the capital. When the pandemic hit and gigs were put on hold, he turned towards solo production, experimenting with digital synths and drum machines while recording guitars and vocals on an iPhone in his parents’ basement. After years of evolution and a long summer of writing and recording between London, Canada and Ireland, the resulting debut EP arrives on September 18th 2026. It draws on Hill’s formative indie-rock influences, even incorporating some of those original iPhone-recorded guitars, alongside rich synth pads and distorted drum samples borrowed from the worlds of synth-pop and hyperpop. Ethereal vocals come from renowned vocalist Angie Robba, who Hill connected with during the early stages of the Summerhouse project. Across the EP, her lyrics trace a cycle of love, lust, panic and regret, mirroring the alternating darkness and euphoria of the music.
