SUUVI

SUUVI is a Cuban-Chinese producer, composer, and multidisciplinary artist crafting immersive soundscapes that fuse classical instrumentation with electronic production, cinematic storytelling, and voice. A former child prodigy, she began cello at age two and was accepted to Juilliard at ten, later earning degrees from the Paris Conservatoire and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Her classical solo career has included performances at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, Lincoln Center, and La Fondation Louis Vuitton, and international tours as the featured soloist in Hans Zimmer’s live show. SUUVI’s debut album Dark Therapy is a genre-blurring neuroarts project inspired by her recovery from CPTSD. Created in collaboration with neuroscientists, it explores how immersive sound and sensory-altering experiences can regulate the nervous system and allow access to deeper states of awareness and healing. Raised between New York, Paris, and Berlin, she draws from the sonic textures of each—merging classical, IDM, jazz, techno, and ambient influences into a fluid, emotionally resonant sound. Her work often extends beyond music into dance, film, and visual media, with original compositions premiered by dancers of San Francisco Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, L.A. Dance Project, and more.
