Biography & Metadata

Driehoek’s musical journey began in 1998, when he discovered the ReBirth RB-338—a groundbreaking software synthesizer developed by Propellerhead Software (now Reason Studios). Running on a humble Windows 95, ReBirth emulated the iconic Roland TB-303 and TR-808/909, sparking a lifelong fascination with electronic sound. At 18, he sold his moped to buy his first turntables and vinyl records, diving deep into DJing and collecting. Throughout his university years studying Electronic Engineering, electronic music remained his constant companion—fueling late nights filled with textures, pads, and hypnotic rhythms. His music blends organic textures, deep grooves, and fluid melodies to create lush sonic landscapes. Each track is a sensorial escape, a journey into a space of lightness and carefree pleasure. Driehoek doesn’t chase the instant drop—instead, he crafts music that invites deep connection: to be felt in the body and soul. Driehoek is part of a new wave of producers who see the dancefloor as a space for emotional resonance and exploration. Welcome to Driehoek’s music triangle.
