Darkwave

Darkwave is a one-man artistic project exploring loss, mortality, memory and the fragile possibility of hope through progressive death metal, church organ and cinematic atmosphere. Rooted in old-school metal yet refusing stylistic boundaries, Darkwave blends progressive and death metal with orchestral arrangements, classical influences and cinematic storytelling. Since the debut album Hexapla (2021), the project has evolved into a singular artistic vision where every release serves a unified emotional and philosophical concept. Thanatology (2023) earned recognition from the international metal community, including a place in Metal Has No Borders' Readers' Metal Album of the Year rankings. Following the critically praised Horror Sacri (2025), Darkwave continues to expand its musical and lyrical horizons with Evanescent Horizons.
