Einar Askelsson

Hello dear friends. I´m a freelance musician from Iceland. 6 years ago I hardly knew nothing about playing or making music. After heavy trauma in my life I started to play my guitar regulary because it helped me to deal with my CPTSD. Soon I started to learn about basic music theory and I got hooked. That led me to start writing music and it came my favorite hobby and still is today. Today I write and arrange all my music. In any style at all. I started to write instrumental music with the freedom of experimation. I only have a very primitive equipment to record exspecially vocals. But I started to record my vocals and also I got in contact with professional singers. First I wrote songs inspired from my own or other´s poems. Today I like to write the lyrics first but in writing the music the lyrics change to fit the melody. I love to challenge me to get my emotions and mood into my songwriting and arranging. I´m not professional. My goal is not necessary to become a famous artist but to get other musicians interested in my music and willing to record my music. Of course I don´t mind if I have a success on my own but that doesn´t worry me. So I hope you listen. I appreciate it. Cheers Einar
