Based in Georgia, Amara creates nostalgic, early‑2000s‑inspired music from her home studio. With no label support, she has charted Top 5 on U.S. and global Spotify playlists and reached #15 on the TikTok Billboard chart with “Cleared Remix,” all within her first two years of creating music. Amara has been playlisted across major Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music editorials — from House, R&B Weekly to Viral Dance, Slow & Reverb and more — and was named one of YouTube’s “Artists on the Rise.” After rebranding in August 2025 with her single “Cybergirl”, she stepped into a new era designed for an audience craving nostalgia, futurism, whimsical visuals, creativity and fun. Her new sound feels like a blast from the past: Frutiger Aero, whimsical Disney energy, video‑game‑coded, early‑2000s, futuristic, nostalgic. She draws different types of inspiration from artists and groups like PinkPantheress, Kaytranada, Imogen Heap, Aaliyah & timberland, Gorillaz, Doja cat, black eyed peas, etc. Amara has a unique concept similar to the Gorillaz. Amara is the artist both visually and vocally and alongside her are three 3D triplet characters named — Claudia, Amai and Melody — who support the storytelling and world‑building. Each character represents a different part of herself and the way she processes the world as an artist on the spectrum. You’re listening to the first all black — hybrid music group, Lilithzplug.
