Biography & Metadata

Christian Lisi, Lisi, was born in Taranto in 1972. He approached the world of music with the electric bass. He attended Jazz courses at Quinto Rigo in Bari and entered the Italian Jazz scene with well-known names such as Teo Ciavarella, Massimo Fabrizio Sotti, Gianluca Putrella and others. In 1996 he moved to Bologna and began a collaboration with the IRMA Records label that continues to this day, producing and collaborating with artists such as DJ Rodriguez, Ohm Guru, Clan Greco, Banda Favela, LTJ Xperience, Pastaboys, The Black Mighty Orchestra, Montefiori Cocktail, Melania. He also follows a live activity with these artists. He produces some new artists for Universal, Warner and Sony. In 2003 he began a partnership with the group Parto Delle Nuvole Pesanti. At the end of 2006 he moved to Milan. In 2007 he collaborated with Fio Zanotti on songs by Celentano and Paul Anka. He also began to collaborate with Celso Valli with productions by Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Biaggio Antonacci. Back in Bologna he runs a studio “Not Brushing Dolls” of his own where he experiments and creates his productions in Castel San Pietro Terme. He released an album with the Ukulele with guests Silvia Donati and Roberto Rossi, an album with Swingin’ Cats Jazz Quintet and recently an album with Melania ‘Vintage Italian Electro Swing’ with excellent results on Spotify playlists.
