Psydecar

Psydecar is a reggae, lovers rock, and groove band from San Diego, CA. One of the longest-standing names in San Diego music, Psydecar has been the primary musical vehicle of lead vocalist Tim Pacheco since the mid-1990s. Over the years, the band has evolved through multiple lineup iterations, each bringing a unique creative chapter, from 2004's funk-leaning "Subtle Yet Striking" to the roots reggae/rock fusion sound of 2010's self-titled SOUTHTOWN GENERALS album. Today's lineup represents another new direction resulting from the addition of keyboardist and vocalist Trevy James and the ensuing new collection of songs written by the duo, first evidenced by the 2024 singles "I Like" and "Two Party." Rounding out today's quartet lineup are lead guitarist Pelle and bassist Denis Sluka. Together, they continue to captivate audiences with dynamic jam band-style live performances and an impressive catalog of original music spanning nearly three decades.
