Biography & Metadata
Secret Bad Boy is the art-pop project of Chicago musician Ben Joseph, a longtime member of Ezra Furman's band and collaborator on projects including May Erlewine and Woody and Jeremy. Built on rich, synth-forward textures and a knack for the unexpected, the songs are intense and sincere. The project draws contributions from Vulfpeck's Woody Goss, members of Mild High Club, I Fight Dragons, and Brian Wilson collaborator Paul Von Mertens. A run of new singles is rolling out in 2026, building toward a debut album in 2027.
