Fishbone

For over 4 decades, Fishbone has been a band that has been influential, game changers, replicated but never duplicated. Starting in High School, these 6 young men kicked off playing talent shows and parties as Megatron. When getting out to the live gig life and getting taken under the wing of The Bus Boys, the band was encouraged to take the name Fishbone...and that was that. Signed to Columbia records in 1984 and releasing their debut EP titled Fishbone, the band was off. The 6 song EP caught everyone's attention and added to their already incendiary live shows of chaos and fun. Releasing 4 full length albums and 2 more EP's under their Columbia Records deal, Fishbone had line up changes that would continue happening for the next 3 decades. A revolving door of original members, long term replacements and amazing contributors and musicians to keep the legacy going. The band came back to as close to the original line up in 2022 to record the bookend to the debut EP also entitled Fishbone, produced by Fat Mike of NOFX. Non stop touring and continuing line up changes, the band is not slowing down in 2024 with original member Angelo Moore and Christopher Dowd, long standing guitar player, Mark Phillips and rhythm section of Aryon Davis and Hassan Hurd. The heat keeps coming and Fishbone continues to be Red Hot.
