Srvent

Srvent makes alternative hip-hop for people who think too much. Based in Edmonton, Canada, he is a self-produced rapper, songwriter and composer whose music moves freely between dense hip-hop, pop, electronic production and orchestral textures. The lyrics are personal, image-heavy and sometimes painfully honest, exploring identity, mental health, purpose, love, hope and the absurdities that come with trying to figure yourself out. Srvent writes, produces, mixes and masters his own music and has directed or edited dozens of his own music videos. Outside the artist name, he works as filmmaker Spencer Richard, founder of Red Reach Productions, where that same obsession with story has increasingly expanded into narrative film. The objective is to make something worthwhile, something the serves you.
